Nice car!
And to answer your question, yes you can turbo a supercharged motor, it's called twincharging, it is very effective but costly at the same time, but yes it has been done to these motors before. :)

What pads are in it? How long since you changed them? I am guessing by black shit you mean brake dust? I would try different pads and see how you go.

No idea what pads are in it at the moment but I'm guessing they are crapo since it is leaving a lot of brake dust on the back end. I do want to try different ones but hoping someone can recommend what they like best when it comes to pads? I hear Libra are good? jokes

I use Bendix GCT in my car, and have no problems. But a lot of people seem to have mixed opinions about them.

I have just bought the QFM pads from our club sponsor GSL. Cant wait to get them in. Can only be better than factory. But I am updating rotors as well.
PM Greg at GSL. He'll help you out.

Should updating rotors go hand in hand when getting better pads?

They should be machined, if they are found to be undersize then they should be replaced.

I thought u only had to have them machined if they were squealing

Whenever you change pads it is a good idea to have the rotors machined. The pads wear to the rotors, and when you fit new pads, if you dont machine the rotors they can wear the pads out quicker, especially if the rotors have deep marks in them.

i used bendex performance on my VN ( V8 brakes, 300mm rotors ) all they did was dust up alot an lost braking when hot, but have heard people had some good with them.
If you dont like dust use green stuff pads, there pretty good, or go see our club sponcer GSL have heard nothing but good reports about his pads

There's probably nothing really wrong with mine apart from the fact that they are factory.....
That's why I bought new slotted rotors and QFM pads. Check the GSL section of the forum. Heaps of good feedback from many different types of cars
