neet car. make sure u put your pod is some kind of custom box or atleast have a heat shield around it. otherwise it will only be a waste of time and wont do shit...

yeh gonna put in a box to make it legal, was told its a defect without a box.

not really expecting much from it in terms of power increase, mostly want it to increase induction whine.
might sound corny but i love the sound of a s/c whine. ;)

box is good to keep it legal, also it cant be oil'd..

box is more so to keep it from sucking in hot air, cars want cold air not hot air.,

Im not so sure about the box being required to make the pod legal...I have had a pod on 90% my cars and have had no issues law wise.

I was given a warning for not having it screwed down but that was it..as long as its secure you can use one. it dose NOT need to have a box.

but yeh as mad car said good for keeping heat out.

i work in plastic fabrication, so i was thinking of making a box out of black max (Polypropylene) and having a perspex top so it still looks good. ;)

Yeah NSW i think is a box requirement......

What most people do is patition to mrevent hot air...Im looking at the same thing for the VP 5L and runing a pipe to the open mouth on the front bar....

But custom is aways best and if you can say you did it even better.
