Well the A/C in the SSV shat itself on the weekend, 9 days before end of warranty time. Booked it in yesterday for it to be looked at today down at Motorama Springwood.
Arrived down there at 7:45am and was greeted as soon as i stepped out of the car buy one of the service guys. Explained the problem that I had, he took notes. He then said "oh its the V8, pop the bonnet" so I did and he pointed out that the belt had came off the AC, This normaly happens because there is an issue with the balancer. (was impressed that he had an idea of what the problem was) Left the car with them and they said they would be in touch.
10am I get a call from one of the service guys letting me know they have replaced the belt, balancer, bolts and a seal. All under warranty and that the car is ready to be picked up, They would be there untill 5:15pm and If i wasn't able to make it the car would be kept overnight ready for me in the morning.
Picked the car up about 4:30 sarvo, Lady in the office got my keys, explained the paperwork that showed the work that was done and that there was no charge. She also could see this was my first time at the dealership, Took me accross the road to show me exactly where my car was parked.
All in all I dont think I could have asked for a better experience. I could highly recomend Motorama Springwood as good dealer to go to.
