Meet And Greet - 18th October

Hey guys and girls... Brisbane Commodore Car Club is having a meet and greet, details are as below

Date: October 18th

Location: Upper Caboolture

Meeting Times: Everyone is to meet at the Caltex Service Station on the bruce highway at castledine at 10am. Departing at 10:30 am. From there, head up the bruce highway, till you reach Uhlman Road (First morayfield road exit)
From there, follow morayfield road, through 4 sets of lights, at the 5th set, turn left at bunnings, onto walkers road..... follow that to the very end, turning left onto caboolture river road. Follow that for about 15 kay, to the very end, and you will see the BCCC Set up in a big park.....

Food and drink will be available at this event, and will be FREE to everyone that attends.. Thats right FREE......

There is a 50 - 50 % chance that the BCCC PROMO car that brad and i have been working on could be at this event...

The BCCC sponsors have been invited along to this event, to talk in person about any new or old products they wish to share with us.....

Everyone is expected to be on there best behaviour as this is a BCCC event. Im sure everyone knows, NO SKIDS, NO RACING, NO TOKYO DRIFT.

Adam, aka Carbon, will be leading the cruise up. He will be on hand at springwood maccas at 8:40 am, for a 9 am departure up to the caltex at castledine.... adam will also be leading the cruise from there, to caboolture... He has a black ve ss, with an orange stripe on it for those who done know.

my boss (QCK57 aka Paul) has donated a $50 seafood tray, to be given away to someone who attends, as all car numberplates will go into a hat, anyone there on the day can win this....
Paul has also donated a $100 seafood tray to be raffelled off on the day.... These trays are Friggen huge.... So come one come all :)

I just asked Gail if she would to come along for the meet and she said yes. Gail has had 2back operations and can`t sit to long so I don`t know how long we will stay. I hope the drugs work well for her. Anyway I will be so glad to meet all of the people that I have chatted too and put a face to a name.

i forget the park name, but you follow caboolture river road and it turns into McNamara Road. And just follow that till you see everyone... U will go over a few creeks and so on.... The park is only about 300 meters before the road ends.... You can not miss it...

The sight of the prawns sent brads missus and my missus into a frenzy, so much so they just went and spent $40 on a few KG of prawns. lol... Brad and i just bought a Keg of heiniken (SP) its going to be a good night i think, lol

Thanks for the day thou it was great to see some cars and names to put to the post i read and respond too. Even brad managed a 1/2 descent sausage for a change??LOL.

I look foward to the next catch up, I might even do a seafood BBQ lunchin where members and guest can come along at a cheap cost as a fund raising exercise. Brad has been given permission for a drive to munchins on Friday, hope to see a few BCCC cars out there.

I would like say a big thank you to Ben and Brad and helpers who facilitated the day.

I think there were 16 cars in total and lots of very nice and friendly people. An awesomme day and a bloody fantastic venue.

Thanks for donating the raffle Paul; thats one hell of a car you have too mate - well done.

After the event I went to lakeside raceway to watch the remainder of the Historic Race Cars meet.

Nah Paul, todays win is only a "daily" allowance, forget that yearly thingy. Lotsa Anti-oxidants abound in the prawns and stuff (the more orange, the more anti-oxident content) - Omega 3 seafood great for the heart (I should know) longevity, virility and youthfulness health food lol.
