I might be able to make it to this one. I'm in the middle of a 10 day working week at the moment so had to work through last weekend, but get this weekend off. Will see how things transpire & let you know soon

Never piloted a car down the quarter, so it will be a baptism of fire for me if I can make it!

EEEHAAA, that would be great if you can make it Darren. We haven't caught up together for way too long. Would be great to chew the fat over a Hot Dog and Coffee whilst sniffin the tyre rubber smoke lol.

No probs dude, after the first run is done all others are easy. :D

I was "nervous as" on my first ever run - overshot the start line and all by a longshot and just drove up to where the Christmas Tree Lights were, whoopsies, the Marshall dude didn't see the funny side of it though. I didn't really know where the start line was back in 2006 when the car was new...

Savo - Richard is gunna come along and give me a run in his VE SSV. We have similar spec cams (one is a COMP Cam, the other an ISKY cam), both are Tuned by Hi Torque, but the two cars have setups that are quite different - both are A6 running stock stall converters. Will be an interesting match as Richards car is seriously quick for a N/A. Who will claim the prize of the quickest 400 metres between two mates, I honestly don't know but am a tad nervous.

weather forecasts are notoriously innacurate, but it doesn't look too promising for Saturday night at this stage.... :(

Yup I'm with you...

I would like to test the VE out though, it now has the helical geared Tru Trac LSD mounted and made 403 rwhp after a tweak of the tune at Hi Torque this arvy. Not bad for a normal aspirated L98 luxo with a power sapping A6 in tow and stock stallie still in place. By far the biggest figures it has made to date inclusive of my previous Cammed engine.

I went fishin afterwards and doing normal drive and some stop start city traffic, early feedback is that I am very happy with the real world result and drivability. Haven't tested the "go" department to its full extent yet - hence hope Willowbank will still be on.

I have no idea what times and ET it may achieve given the summer teperatures and humidity.

Nearly a plan ready to happen. I was all ready and set to drive out but checked the site "just in case"

Saturday December 19th - Tonight's Test'n'Tune has been cancelled due to the rain.

Might head back down the Tweed of another crack at the fish.

I should have gone with Garry and Justin and played Skidpan at Lakeside Raceway. I went out and watched em for a couple of hrs - looked great fun.

Having commited to the T&T I felt doing skidpan and drags in the one day would have been a bit much.
