pretty simple,

there are 2 small bolts holding the fuel rails in on each side, if you take them out the rails will lift up, unplug the injectors, than the should just pop out

Cheers, Kev

glad it went well!

Just to add an important note to Kev's explanation for anyone else attempting this.
Make sure you depressurise the fuel rail before removing injectors or fuel line or you can end up with fuel spraying either in your face or all over the engine - fire risk...

Pull the fuel pump relay and/or fuse, start the engine and wait for it to stall. Then it's a good idea to remove the fuel inlet hose (with care) to ensure there is no residual pressure. Removing the fuel line also gives you a bit more room to remove & refit the new injectors

yeah mate did that, been down that road once b4 it's got me in the eyes before doing the f/filter so now i do it always anything to do with fuel i depressurise it and always disconnect my battery, most people say no need for battery but im obsessed with doing it right, i cleaned all round the rails first and made sure not to get any dirt in too, runs smooth as now all good!!, thanks Darren for your info and advice! :)

the only difference for ur VS Ben, is that u will need to remove the plenum cover, and the plenum bowl to get near ur injectors..
the rail is bolted to the underside of the bowl..

they still pop out, just put a bit of vasoline or rubber grease on the rubbers on end of injectors before ya fit them to rail, and in the manifold..:)

yeah my brother just said i should have coated the o rings in engine oil
ooh well...should be still ok, coating them just lengthens the life of the o ring ...hmm now he tells me :)

not necessary but can make changing the injectors a bit easier. Also ensures there is no residual fuel pressure
