Was down at PT today and got talking to a guy with a Calais V wagon with AFM. Anyway, he says "is your name Adam?" "Yep" I replied to which he said "Joel said I should get in contact with you"
Now Joel is my contact at Motorama. It's good to see that he is heading people our way

I know for a fact that any HSV's he sells he heads them to the HSV owners club.
Imagine how we'll be doing if he sends all the 'Holden' (read Commodore) owners our way.
true, thats nice to hear.

Yea when they first came out I really didn't like the look of them at all....and there are some colours out there that make them still look bad..But the car in general now has grown on me....but ill stick with my basic Delft Blue VU Turbo (if we get it done) and it will be fully sick bro....

Like the E2 HSV's. When I first saw the spy pics they put me right off. Now after seeing more and more in the flesh they are growing.
I think you need the darker colours though or the white. I would prefer an E1 white GTS personally

I've always liked the VE's and the chassis & suspension is light years ahead of any previous Commodore. Thank God they got rid of the VN-VZ sikaflexed in firewall......
but I wouldn't buy one myself simply because they are WAY too big!

you'd be better getting an SS Sportswagon IMO. They look sexy as and you are not paying the premium of HSV name.
Bit hypocritical I know considering I'd love to buy a GTS but considering the back of the Tourer is almost identical to the SS variant. Save the coin I say

The ve is in a class of it's own. the l98 motor is fantastic. It handles like a dream. I will keep it until the v8's get direct injection. If that doesn't happen to bad. the fuel economy is a lot better as well.

Hope he was a nice guy, Adam ?? :)
By the way, the wags is 100% better now that she's been lowered.
I reckon the Calais would have given my old Adventra a run in the height stakes. :D
