hey kent, just wondering if you could tell me how to go about getting a tune for my vs calais once my turbo kit is complete ?
ive been told several of the better knows after market computers arnt compatable with ecotec's. Whats needed to tune it and how much would i be looking at ??

Hi ben , the best setup for your car would be the haltech E6gmx,but i would have to wire it in not use the plug-in fuction as the factory ecu will control the gearbox shift pattern and not comatible with direct plug-ins. As a drivein-driveout setup you are looking around the $1800-2000 supplied,fitted and tuned.

cheers mate. good to have a $$$ figure to save towards now.... Should have the turbo in the next 3 -4 , will try and have the rest of the kit bought, bolted on and ready for a tune by march some time. :)
Does it converting to manual change anything with the computer ?? as its something im considering too ?

ill keep this in mind as im removing my super charger and going the turbo route,

my question is would that computer work on vs as i have a th6 speed gearbox conversion
