Bugger......
So I went searching for a stone or something that was stuck in my tyre as I was getting that really annoying ticking sound when driving.
I jacked up the rear and found the culprite but figured that while I had the jack out I would check the front as that's where I thought the offending noise was coming from. As couldn't be assed going to the trouble of getting the whell out of mine just to get at the jack, I used the jack from my wife's Outlander as it is easily accessible. What a mistake. The 'pole' that twists the jack to make it rise has an end on it like a massive flathead screwdriver. So imagine what happened when it slipped in my hands.

I tried a bit of Scratch X on it but it is well too deep. Corey suggested that when I do my new stripes I continue it to the wheel but the problem is that the stripe is already cut. Do Meguiars make a colour polish that may cover it up?
