Missed it yesterday.....
I think it a HSV day.
Since Mitsubishi dont have a v8 I doubt they will have an oppertunity.
Toyota on the otherhand doe have a V8 although not in Australian delivered cars atlease they are there. But on the otherhand the Police Turbo TRD Aurion pushes 312KW from the front wheels bringing them well into V8 Land in the street world.
The Aurion has altready made an appearance in the Aussie Race Cars.

I don't think it matters whether or not the other brands run a v8..my tip is that it won't be long and our V8 supercars will be running a v8 engine thats something totally different to Ford or Holden..something like a 4.0l DOHC engine perhaps!!

Mitsubishi can use the Chrysler V8 as Chrysler & Mitsubishi are part of the same motor company. And of course Toyota has the Lexus V8

Yea but that isnt going to be fun next yr...might as well call it holden racing and drop the fans by 50% lose the fords....then will u be happy.
I think its sad..I mean they got to do what they got to do, but the racing may suffer :(

does it really matter what colours they drive under now anyway ?
Holden & Ford Supercars are basically the same car now, right down to chassis & suspension components. As far as I'm concerned they buggered the Holden vs Ford thing several years ago.
