What do you Collect?

Just wondering what the people out in Brisbane commodore car club land collect..

Myself, i used to collect glasses, mugs, cups, ect ect....... but with all the moving around i have done in the past years most of them have been lost or broken,

i did how ever manage to keep hold of my Shotglass collection...
i have 53 of them,
i also wouldn't mind building up a sample bottle collection again...


So what do you collect?

My main collection is the winner of the V8 Supercars in 1:18. That was great when I first started because I ended up with 4 or 5 HRT cars but I decided to change my tune after my first Ambrose car. Now I just collect the Holden winners and anything else that takes my fancy. I just bought Skaifey's last car for example

i collect stubby coolers ....if we go somewhere we buy coolers dont know how many but it keeps growing

i like to collect 1/64 scale cars holden or ford
but i do have more holdens than fords
have a few 1/43 as well and a couple of 1/18, over 60 cars all up

My old man collects bar coasters, being a shop fitter he is always working in pubs and stuff and gets the fresh clean coasters. probly has a good 1000

I just collect lots of useless stuff - I'm a hoarder by nature, can't stand throwing things out! Like I never throw out my car magazine, I've got piles of magazines dating back to the early 80's. Sometimes I will randomly dig through the pile and read them again.

I own a near complete set of 2004 Hotwheels Cars. I bought each car individually so I could claim 'collectors' status and I still have the receipts. There is a toital of 312 cars in the collection which also includes 36 ZAMAC's (sold in the USAonly) and 36 Variations (that I am aware of, there may be more). I have all but 24 and use evil bay to locate the missing ones. The pic is one of two cabinets. Lost both cabinets in the Jan flood but my wife saved all the cars. Decided it was more important to spend $2000 on a sunroof for the SSV than $2000 to replace the cabinets. They can wait.

i collect old video game consoles, such as snes, Sega, Atari and i even have an old commodore 64 that still works iv got that many i cant remember what they are and some of them are still with the boxes and booklets and so on

Not me but Bernadette has a collection of Lilliput houses. These are very intricate minatures of english country houses. Together we have started collecting glass birds, flowers and animals. Only a few at the moment. Also aboriginal pots and plates.

Stubbie Coolers. I have 3 + big garbage bags full of ém and they have moved house with us always.

Other than that, car memorabilia.

Have Pontiac brochures, Holden Brochures etc....

I have quite a good collection of car parts. Two sets of brakes, (ve and vt), Cylinder heads to suit the old girl, davies craig fan, ss induction cold air intake, injectors, quite a few vh heater fans, spare set of wheels. Quite sure if I went out to the garage I could find more.
