ive seing the conversion done, i dunno how much it costs or the legalties of it, but i reckon u should stick with the v6 and turbo it, that way u got cheaper rego and insurance. plus its fun beating 215 senaters in a v6

yeah, but been speaking to some people i know about doing a turbo 304 set up. and its the price would be pretty much the same as the V6. but bucketloads more power. There is a v8 turbo kit on e bay now for like $1200.... everything minus manifold and tune..... Use factory headders, but reversed, and pay for a tune... Im just weighing things up at the moment... After being in pauls TT Clubby, the sound of a v8 spooling just sounds hot.

swap the K frame bolt the V8 in....... stick the V8 brakes in and you sholdn't have a problem.... i do believe you will need to get it mod plated

mod plates are no issue, as i know people that do them

pretty much only major things needed for V6 - V8 upgrade is the brakes ( if you have slotted rotors and VS V6 calaiper your fine, as the VS V6 calipers are just VN V8 calipers ), the suspension ( V8 springs in the front ) and thats pretty much it lol

if it's a 304 conversion, no need for a mod plate, as that was a factory option.
and yeah, it's a fairly easy swap.
