In another big boost for the club, this morning we secured sponsorship from Hi-Torque.

I just wanted to send out a welcome and thankyou to Kent and Hi-Torque for sponsoring this year in this new beginning for the club.

The 2009/2010 year looks to be a great year with so many things already booked and organised. Without the help of these sponsors, some of these things wouldn’t take place as easily as they do.

Be sure to ring Kent and have a chat with them if there is anything he can do for you. Be sure to spread the word with your club members of your experience.

We have already spoken to him about a late afternoon dyno day and Ben will be posting details of the event in the coming days

:) :D :)

Welcome Kent and the HT team. Great that you could see your way clear to being a sponsor here. ;)

I should be right to go with the variety of stuff sitting at your shop to add to the Luxo and a bit of a tweak of the HT Tune in two weeks time. I'm aiming at 19th November is that is ok for you to lock me in for the day.

Will put it into the following T&T at Willowbank which is Wednesday 25th.

Thanks Mick. Not all thanks go to me. HT have been a joint effort. I did speak to them earlier in the year but after Pete spoke to them recently we managed to move forward with their sponsorship.

Thanks again guys.

Will be good to see some of these cars....You took me for a ride in one of the boys utes long time ago when I was looking at a cam.....was much fun going up the road....its was just to far to go to get work done :(

Now get Sean to sort his s**t out and get the VT TT Track car going to show these people that don't think Turbos are good race cars, what they can really do :)

Wow, what a cryptic post. The above-mentioned makes no sense to me at all. Maybe it does to Kent though????

Sorry Ill type slower for the silly old farts (yes im over 35 so u know)

Will be good to see some of these cars...The big HP cars Kent is talking about will be good to see them down there...

You took me for a ride in one of the boys utes long time ago when I was looking at a cam....1 1/2 yrs ago I was getting a cam so went to HT and Kent took me for a ride in one of the guys ute that had the same cam I was looking at...

as much fun going up the road..wont discuss on a open forum....

ts was just to far to go to get work done...the travel from the city to HT was just to far for me at the time so that was the reason for not getting
them to do it....

Now get Sean to sort his s**t out and get the VT TT Track car going to show these people that don't think Turbos are good race cars, what they can really do....Funny enough some people dont think Turbos make good track cars, funny though that Nissan did them, all the touring cars where turbos, F1 where turbos but removed them to slow the cars down, Indy cars are turbos also....so the comments ive seen around on many forums about turbos being no good for track cars seems weird..

Now did I type slow enough for you or do I need to slow it down even more ?

One week and counting down from today.

I am really quite excited that the surgery being done to the Luxo next Thursday at Hi Torque that will see the blue baby all set and prepped for all kinds of Motorsport, yet remaining sedate enough for it to be my wife's car and daily driver - bloody quick shopping trolley in reality.

I must say that the work Kent and his team have done on mine to date has been nothing short of superb. Yeh, I know we disagreed on the Cam size and valve spring type and need for an engine oil cooler early days, but shieizers I'm glad I was a test mule for that Cam Kent as it's nothing short of awesomme; with friggen big lift compared to Comp and others - the ISKY has great potential in the L98 through LS2. Spinning tyres in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with a power sapper six speed Auto and Stock Stallie is pretty good given that I run pretty sticky high end tyres as a daily drive.

Hell I even run QR on my daily drive Tyres ocasionally LOL...

As always I only report it as I personally find and see it!!!
