Rule 1. Nomination: Your car must be nominated by someone other than your self. The nomination must contain 3(three) current photos and a link to the cars "My Ride" thread. You may not nominate your self.
Rule 2. Eligibility: The nominee must be a Club member of Brisbane Commodore car club for at least 3(three) months. If we have not received 4(four) nominations by 1(one) week of the end of closing the nominations we will than open the nominations to allow club members of less than 3(three) months and validated members to be nominated.
Rule 3. Repeat winners: COTM winners will have to wait 6(six) months before being Nominated again. Nominees of COTM will be required to wait 3(three) months before being able to be nominated again, COTM winners will be required to wait 3(three) months before a second car of theirs can be nominated.
Rule 4. Acceptance: The Nominee must accept their nomination before being allowed to compete in COTM. So when nominating a member please send them a message letting them know they have been nominated
By Accepting your Nomination you agree to let Brisbane Commodore Car Club take photos of your vehicle and use those photos for promotional purposes.
Rule 5. Prize: the COTM winner will be given a Photo shoot. Which will usually take place the first week end after the voting stops. The winner will also automatically be placed in the Car Of The Year(COTY) competition.
Rule 6. Voting: Voting will start from the 1st of every month and finish on the last day of every month. Votes will than be count and checked.
Rule 7. Cheating: If there is any cheating to be found, you will be removed from the COTM and banned from competing in COTM.
Rule 8. Car Of The Year: COTY will be comprised of the 12(twelve) monthly winners between July and June(eg. July 2008 to June 2009), voting for COTY will happen around October of each year and the winner will be announced at the Brisbane Commodore Club Christmas party
And remember guys, this is a friendly competition. Its all fun so don't be upset/angry if your car doesn't win/doesn't get selected for contention and remember, there is always next time.
