Thanks big fella don't get me wrong I have thought of it. But I have seen too many things go wrong with forced induction. My belief is you need to have a strong engine and drive train behind a supercharger to get maximum benifit and good results with reliability and not just a simple bolt to a stock engine and drivetrain and away you go. I have been educated within my time the car industry to do things right the first time. I have been given a really good price today on a 416ci short motor so in the coming weeks I will make that decision as to if I am going ahead with it. I have just bought another property and the repairs on it are going to come first. If I have enough money left over after I do the reno's the clubbie will be going back into P/T to have it fitted. I have spoken to Shaun today and he has given me a price to fit it. In time you will see a walkinshaw charger on it in the long term. It is all a long term progression as to where I am going to take her. My double row timing chain gives my a nice engine whine as it is and only cost me $300.00. I have had a few people ask me weather it has a charger on it as it is. Either way this car will stay with me. No matter where I go in it I get nothing but comments she is a special car indeed and is a part of the family.:)

I got the 4 into 1's fitted today up at Fat pipes at petrie and I must say I have noticed the differance I used to get a rev range of 6200rpm with the inch ans 5/8th tri y's before it hit the limiter as it sits now the gave it a good rev today and looked at the tacho and I can get a full 7000rpm out of it which was surprising. Top end revs have improved for sure. I am hoping for about 320-330rwkw when the manifold goes on. Fingers crossed.:)

Brad
I see that you have got the 102mm manifold by the looks. Mine is the 92mm one that fast have now discontinued. The engine is breathing alot better but it now has an idling problem due to the air fuel mixtures being out of wack. It will be going back out to P/T on Wednesday to get retuned. I was thinking of going to H/T but I would rather a safe tune and not have a tune running the engine on the raggard edge to get a big dyno number.:)

20-03-2010, 11:12 PM
thats why they pulled it back at this safe number was at 560 the car runs great its not about a big number its whats the engine can take sorry if miss understood the reply
But still love your car
VZ008
20-03-2010, 11:20 PM
Yeah don't worry Brad I just think they are all out to make money out of people haha but we need them to tune our engines better the devil you know. Thanks mate :)

21-03-2010, 03:07 PM
yeah Brad I thought I would go all out and get them. They are friggen expensive but haha they cost me $428.00 then it was another $152.00 for the lines and speedflow fittings but it was worth it.:)

Well got the tune done today. Car pulled 313rwkw with 799nm up from 785nm of torque. Tune was done with air filter in because for some reason that is how they are doing them now as the last tune of 308rwkw was done with the air filter out so go figure haha it is all to much for me to understand but the car has alot more mid range power so the next test will be at the strip all in all I am a happy camper.:)
