Greetings to a new area for Brisbane Commodore Car Club.

This spacific area is to be used to post Cruising Events. These events will cover the following

Cruises (Both Official And Non Official)
Car Show's

Please take care when posting to make sure you have posted your event in the correct area, you will have a better turnout if this is done.

Also When posting a Cruise, Please make sure you have Meeting Times posted, and a departure time. Please list ALL destinations within the cruise, and roughly what time you will arrive and depart each location. When cruising on a highway please stick to the left hand lanes, unless on a 3 lane high way in which stick to the middle lane. Speeding and dangerous driving will not be tollerated on official club cruises, and on non official cruises we still like to promote safe driving. Cruise leaders should remember there are people behind them, and make allowances for people getting stuck at traffic lights, i find if everyone on the cruise has parkers or fog lights on, it makes it easier to spot who is cruising with you. If you plan your cruise wisely, and stick to a few simply guidelines, you will have a great event.... I bid you Safe and Happy Cruising.

Just an update to this thread all.

When BCCC holds an official Cruise or attends a Car Show Event, this will be posted in this section and also added to the BCCC Calendar which can be seen at the top of the forum under the shout box under the heading: Upcoming Events for the Next 90 Day(s).

In each event that is in the Calendar, there is an RSVP option. To assist in making organising these events and cruises easier, if everyone could please RSVP in the calendar that would be much appreciated.

Any non official events and cruises can be posted in a new thread in this section of the forum.

I hope this will ensure that all of our members can easily access upcoming events and cruises.

Just also to reiterate that while on an official or non official outing with BCCC if you have a BCCC sticker on your car or not, please abide by the road rules. No racing, drifting, dangerous driving etc. We have track events to let your frustrations out on your cars. Keep it safe. Everyone home everynight!

Cheers,
