Grinding noise

Hi I just got this noise sounds like flywheel mybe or convertor (gearbox).
I was parking the car so not moving.
The brake warning light came on and grinding noise started very loud, just put the car across the road to get out a another car out. But changing from drive to neutral or park loud gringing noise. Changed shifter up and down light when out and noise when to.
I cleaned the car today and just sprayed a bit of wd40 in the wheelarchs for show.
Any ideas gear box????

for starters, if it is an auto you don't have a flywheel, you have flex plate... but they are pretty much the same thing

Try running your diagnostics and see what comes up..

Well had a talk to a tech. today who knows his VS`s.
They (computer cars) can be funny sometimes if it is not doing it now don`t worry about it.
So he had never heard of this before and I know what I saw and heard and Gail heard it too.
The car is running like a dream.
