Ta Adam, I have vids of you and Arif running against them big banger mumma Ol school cars. When you think of how much power you and Arif have - which is about the same as mine, and how quick these super cars are, I rekken you both did VE land proud lol.

Would have been great if you were side by side and had a run against each other.

I will clean up the pics through the photobucket system, they aren't great quality yet. I just pulled what I thought was relative of the approx 800 photos and 10 odd videos I had of the day and threw em up on BC in a rush..

Hell I fell in love with that 4x4 lifting the wheels as it did all sortsa nutso/ballsy stuff every lap - I have a heap of pics of it. The Ford Capri holds fond memories as my Dad (now deceased) had a V6 Capri and we had oh so much fun in that orange car when I was a teenager. How times change, I still recall the V6 Capri original specs, it had 144HP at the flywheel, and was seen to be bloody quick and in competition with the Torana XU1 in its day.

My neighbour three doors up from where I live and his mate were running their rotary less than 11 second cars out there. I saw em preppin and loading em onto the trailers the night before hence my checkin what was on at QR. Noisy critters, but light weight and bloody quick me thinks.

Hell yeah. That lime green HQ just blew me away. That's the second time too. I would have liked at least more than 1 run

You mean GUP? The lime green HQ in the pic under the blue Torana? If so, it runs low 11's from memory. Mild 350ci on giggle gas. Its GUP's second HQ. ELVIS is dark green now.

I really like that 4wd. Any idea on whats in it?

Yeah it is Gup' car but it wasn't him driving

Yeh Adam, I am pretty sure I had a shot of you and Gup launching off the start but it was out of focus, hence didn't post it here. That RACQ tow truck buggered a lot of shots in that session.

The orange Munro was quick too!!!
