Jims Race Car

Well before we are banned from BCCC for not being paying members I thought since Jim is to lazy to post this up I would do it for him.

VH ex commodore club car. Bought as a rolling shell, we have had to do everything build fuel system, oil system, wire it all up.

Yea its been fun working on this....all though we didnt think we would be working on another car again so soon :)

But dont worry this thing will also be seeing the 1/4 mile strip, Jim still likes to go fast in a straight line :)

Hey battery is in the car, was there when he got the car so one thing we didn't have to do with the car.

Nice work Jim and Chris. Its coming along pretty good. It'll be good to see it up and going when its done.

Well not alot has been happening on the car as of late.

She is now running with a good tune making around 440rwhp on 98 fuel.

The injectors are going to be change as she needs slightly bigger ones, and she is also about to get a gulp of E85 which should net around another 40rwhp

So LRRC (Little Red Race Car) will have around 480rwhp and be ready to race at the end of June.

There is talk of seeing it down the 1.4 mile also once things are sorted would be good to see a car be able to do 11sec passes and good times around QR, Some people believe it can not be done, But Big Jim can do anything lol

Jim and Chris were telling me about this on Monday night what i was over at WSM. They said it should get around 450rwhp, so they weren't far off it.

Well Jim put better and bigger injectors into the car and tune today made 460 rwhp on 98 fuel. :panting:

Just need to get it onto the E85 and see what it makes.

Racing at the end of this month so a bit more to do and we are all go. :cigar:

Yea end of this month we are out at QR is going to be fun as all the guys are going to be there, Dan in his VK Jim in his VH Garry in the VT and Chris in his VT

It is going to be interesting as he will have more power than Garrys VT and is lighter also buy a few hundred kgs, But they have more circuit time than Jim in a new car so is going to be fun fun fun :bouncing:
