You don't need a V8 Supercar (of which Project Mu are a control supplier!) to benefit from their race and competition pads!!!
Just wanted to let you know how the new pads went as I was at the track yesterday.

Short answer is these pads are amazing (Pmu H16-03)! I cut 6 seconds, yes 6, off my previous time with changes to the car being, higher boost (14psi over 10), pads and braided lines and federal 595rs-r. I was amazed at the stopping power of these pads, I was braking over 20meters later off the straight and from much higher speeds. I did 120km on the circuit and they literally only got better as the day went on. The hotter they got the better they got, I seriously could not fault them at all and I really believe I was nowhere near the limit of the pads. I can't actually describe how effective they are and how much confidence I have in them! The biggest letdown by far was my lack of experience, the car, brakes and tyres were nowhere near their limits.

Oh and the A1RMs in the rear were good too, no issues there and they did their job as they should, it's much harder to review rear pads when the fronts stand out like that!

I have been referring lots of people your way and can now back that with some proof!

Thanks heaps,
Justin

Yeah no offense Greg but it's a pity I can't get their pads or rotors for the VE

Who told you that? There isn't a single Commodore model (including all HSV and std) that Project Mu don't make pads for...

Price on VE competition pads:
HC+
Front $329
Rear $299
Club Racer
Front $350
Rear $325
H16-03
Front $560
Rear $515

Pretty much unless you're a V8 Supercar the Club Racer is more than enough, and dominated World Time Attack over the weekend. Club Racer to suit VE we have on the shelf, the rest would have to be ordered in.

If you wanted performance street or standard pads I'd look elsewhere (like Remsa/QFM/Horsepower etc.) as their street based stuff is a bit expensive for what it is.

Granted they don't do rotors, but to be honest, there's enough choice on the market for rotors, whereas their competition pads are a definitely cut above the rest!

Regards,
Greg

To be honest mate I admit it was probably the rotors I was searching for and when I couldn't find VE ones and the fact they are big into JDM I figured it was same with the pads

True, they are big into JDM (being made in Japan) but to be honest most of their competition pads we supply are either to race type calipers (AP, Willwood etc.) or European cars. They're the control supplier for V8s, as well as supply the majority of Porsche Cup competitors, as well as alot of Nascar teams now, so their market reach (on pads at least) is fairly large!
