Well the Fun Cruise has been and gone and for those of you who turned up I firstly want to thank you so much for supporting the event by coming along to it. It was fantastic to see you all. Thank you also to Adam (Carbon) for organizing the food, drinks, and prizes for the event. Top effort.
To start the cruise off I met up with two other cars at the MacDonalds Springwood branch at 8:30am and snapped a few photos while there was no rain and the cars were still clean and photo worthy.

At 8:45am and no sign of Adam a quick phone call and it was decided that it would be easier if we met Adam enroute on the Gateway arterial road on the way so the three cars convoyed and picked him up on the way to the Caltex at Carseldine where we met up with the rest of the group almost on time. A few more photos before the bad weather took hold.

A little after 10:00am we all hopped in our cars (10 cars in total) and headed for the scenic drive to Mt. Mee behind Glenn (VEWARRIOR) as our lead car. Some of the best enjoyable driving I have done in ages and one of the most photographic sections was where we were in the mountains travelling through low lying cloud. I would have snapped a photo but driving in wet conditions in low visibility and taking photos could be construed as being a little dangerous.
After Mt.Mee I took the lead and headed the convoy to Bribie Island but with the wet weather closing in it was clear that the BBQ was going to be very uncomfortable for all so Glenn kindly offered the comfort of his home to the club where we could all eat and most of all remain dry whilst doing so. Thanks heaps Glenn for that act of generosity. At Glenn's place we cooked up some food, enjoyed some drinks but most of all enjoyed some friendly banter and Adam organized a lucky draw where I was the lucky recipient of my Meguiar's Pack.

I realized because Anthony was a late arrival at the Caltex that I didn't manage a photo of his car either so I had to snap one last photo of a car at Glenn's place just so he didn't miss out having his car getting in on the action.

The cruise was a very successful day especially seeing as the weather dealt us a bad hand. I admire the fact that some members still put in the effort to come along despite the rain. Thanks again guys. Pat yourselves on the back!
Cheers,
Andrew
