Hi All,

Im my boardem I have come across some info in relation to the 2010 release of the VF commodore... (Including Pics).

From what I have found, Holden a looking at useing the same 3.6 Letre Alloytec engine but tweaking it to 225 Kw for the 6 Cyl versions with the ability to drop 2 cyl for local low speed driving and using Chev's new Quad cam V8 range 6.2 to 8 letre engine in the SS/V - Senitor and Statesman. This produces a massive 462 Kw in the 6.2L version or 8L producing just south of 520Kw.... once again with the ability to drop to a 4 cyl under the right conditions

I'm not sure how accurate this info as it was picked up from a number of places.

mate your info is a little old... latest i've heard was that Holden are going to use a 3l V6 alloytec and offer the 3.5 allytec for SV6, Calais and other higher priced 6's

Quad Cam in Eight Litres - holy hell that would be a tyre eater... Bring it awwn!!! :eek:

Damned that would make a cam upgrade spensive.

I really like the styling lines of the new one, but I know that many don't.

first I've heard of a new range of GM quad cam V8's
I hope it's true - it's about time GM caught up with the 20th Century!

The VF looks ok to me, not a lot different to the VE. I definitely prefer the rear end, also looks like they may have improved visibility around the much criticised A pillars

I like the look of it they have finally added some more bodystyling into it will be good to see it once it is released.:)
