:)
A huge thanks to Kent and the Hi Torque team for going the extra yards to get my diff and car operating properly.
Because I had a Saturday Arvy Sprints Session with a few mates at Qld raceway yesterday, the Hi Torque pit crew worked in record time to get the diff in and my car checked and prepped for the day.
Bottom line is that the 3.7 Diff and Harrop Tru Trac is now quiet as a mouse and supports the new 3” sorst exceptionally well. The Hi Torque tune and Cam has the car tame and beautifully drivable around town with stock stallie Auto, but launches right through to 7,000rpm and big end speed when needed on the circuit and motorsport stuff – very niice.
One minute five seconds for a luxo heavyweight on 20” road tyres isn’t too shabby for the Sprint Circuit and its quite difficult corners at Qld raceway. I’m looking to a set of 18” slicks for such occasions as its way too easy to power-slide and tail wag out of the slow corners with street tyres on.
The cooling systems put on the car by Hi Torque has proven to work exceptionally well over the course of time and testing. I used engineering mode to check actual readings on QR yesterday and neither A6 nor engine got outside normal range.
The blue luxo lines up for Gympie Skidpan day next Saturday which will be a real test for the Tru Trac, Engine and Auto trans.
PS
Hey Kent, I beat the mates forced induction Supra by a full two seconds across the course of the day - yaaayy, thank gawd for that as I was a tad nervy cause its a quite quick low slung machine!!! Was all in friendly fun.
