Cruise/event idea

i just had an idea why watching big bang theory tonight about a cruis/event it has nothing to do with the show but was thinking about a cruise then going paintballing

would be fun

i would be down for it cause i like to shoot people its fun

i dont want to yet, not fit enough, went out to the samford paintball field and i almost killed myself with the amount of hills that where there, got to the point where i just snuck to the enemy safe return barrel and held prisoners :thumbs up:

theres a few paintball fields around brisbane ( some without hills for the unfit people :P ) and theres an indoor field somewere

theres one at mango hill that has painball and laser guns aswell for people that dont like getting hurt

yeah iv been to the samford one a few times its good. the first time i went there i had a paintball go up under my mask and hit me in the chin and burst paint in my eyes that was fun.... but still went back there

no ones a good aim with a paintball gun unless its your own lol, im a fairly good shot and the supplied paintball guns where shooting everywhere :hit head:

but yeah what do you think of this as an idea for an event/cruise there seems to be some intrest in it and if we did do a comp sort of thing with the XR boys im sure some of them would be up for it aswell

yeah some of there guns arnt very good, i had a semi auto once and the triger got stuck and just spamed a full load of painballs everywere didnt hit anyone but

Paintball is a weired phenominon for BC, for many years when its raised people say they want to do it and all seems set, but at the end very few actually commit.

The thing is to have someone take carriage of it as an event and make it happen. Once that bits sorted I'm sure the rest will fall into place.

Its the same with Go Carts - lotsa "enthusiam" but no-one Planning, Leading, Organising and Controlling (PLOC) to actually make it happen - hence it dies in the ass every time.

Nah, I'm keen as for this. It keeps getting mentioned or the idea posed and then it all kind of dies.

I think we do a BCCC one first and see how many people we can get involved. Then we go from there.

Somone organise it, organise the BCCC crew and do it. It doesn't need to be an official event.

If the date works, I'm there.

just stay clear of the samford paint ball range, was hard enough getting a stock height EB falcon up and down the goat tracks let alone a lowered commodore lol

yeah nar not samford we went there in a mini bus once and we had to get out halfway cause the bus wouldnt get up the track to much weight

so seeing as how i came up with the idea i might look into it and see what kinda deals we can and how many people we need

most of them seem to do some sort of group package and some even do a free hamburger for every player:thumbs up:

have a look around at the sites and see which one you guys wanna go to and we and get some numbers and a date happening and go from there. there is other places around but from what iv seen these are the 4 best ones apart from samford which i think no one would be able to drive up and down the goat tracks there

yeah the mango hill one looks good to me ill probably have to go 500 just to make sure :devil:

have to find out a good weekend which everyone that wants to go can agree on, and yeah you can email them if you want cause this is my first time organizing something like this

if we were to go a group booking we would need about 10+ for most places and then we would have the whole field to our selfs but if we had less then 10 then we could just join in with another group on the day but its more fun if your with a bunch of people that you know

I went on a run across Tambo, and Numinbah Valley to Springbrook then down the twisties to Mudgeraba and back to Brissy today. Titwas nice to chill and test. Not a club event so no issues.
