First of all congrats to La and DIon for winning this months COTM, in a very fat ride im sure everyone will agree.
Starting with a luxury model makes the job even easier!!! The statesmans look great, but the Caprice just adds style. This particular model rolled off Fishermans Bend in 1992.
Dressed in blue over silver, the paint looks stunning. No aftermarket bodykit has been fitted here, just the pure classy style of the factory caprice kit is all that is needed.
Bringing it down closer to mother earth comes courtesy of lowered springs, slamming the body over the 18inch RJR Torque wheels.
Putting out power comes courtesy of the venerable Holden 5 litre. Modifications to the motor so far include a 70mm throttle body and Cold air induction to help the beast ingest more air. After the combustion process takes place, exhaust gases exit via Pacemaker Headers, and a dual 2 1/2inch system takes it all the way to the rear. Power is estimated to be around 180hp at the wheels, meaning this Caprice is no slug at all!!! The rest of the drivetrain is stock at the present time, but for a daily driver who needs much more really???
Getting into the comfort zone is where this beauty really pleases. Sliding into the comfortable Leather Caprice seats must feel like heaven everytime. Woodgrain surrounds you in luxurious bliss. (plus i hear leather makes it easy to clean baby spew ) JKS!!!
Aural sounds come via an Alpine stereo system, the v8 burble and Sebastion:p
Future mods include cam and chip package, a larger throttle body setup, 3.5 diff gears, shift kit thrown in the auto and bigger brakes to pull the big girl up.
All in all in this scribes opinion another very well doen vehicle, one that La and Dion can be proud off. So enjoy guys, and COngrats on October COTM!!!
