First of congrats to Pete on winning September COTM with his stunning VX SS. I can certainly tell you Car of The Year will be a hard one this year!!!!
Pete picked up his blaxk VX SS late in May this year. Not a bad effort for someone who has only owned the car for 4 months!!!
But it wasnt a bad starting base to start from. Leaving Holdens Adelaide plant dressed in the sexual factory black, looks absolutly stunning. POwering the weapon comes courtesy of the venerable Gen 3 5.7ltr all alloy V8. Coming with pacemakers and a twin exhaust system keeps that v8 burble going all day long. Power so far has been 250rwhp(i think??) which is great for a stoc ls1 with only a exhaust. But dont think this things slow, more than a few punters see the ass end of BAD123. And with future mods in sight, i dare say a few more will be eating his dirt. Backed up by the factory 6 speed manual, this SS is a pleasure to drive.
External appointments include monaro style front headlights and custom tail lights. But its the stance which screams "TUFF''. Dumped on its nuts courtesy of Kings Springs Super Lows, it squats perfectly. And those mammoth XHP 19inch mags dont go astray either!!!! Pete has also deleted the rear wing, which in this scribes opinion, is the best mod he couldve done. The ass looks so smooth and clean without the wing, and sets the overall tone of the car perfectly.
Getting onto the inside, if the sound of the v8 gets a tad boring, he has a in dash dvd player to keep himself and his passengers occupied. Backed up with a comprehensive auido system, keeps everyone entertained for hours.
SO there you have it guys, one BAD VX SS, and a great bloke who owns it too!!
