Hi all i am looking at current club and other events on the calender. I have descided to start organising a BCCC cruise to fit into and around these events.

However i am also using this as an opportunity for members to have their input on where and what we do.

Hence all suggestions are up for discussion. These are my thoughts for a cruise and lunch. Looking at a Sunday in July

*Hervey bay cruise, nice bruce highway cruise, through Maryborough and into a local pub for lunch, along the water.

*Byron bay cruise and luncheon, always a nice drive down into Northern NSW.

*NTH glasshouse mountain run and lunch "the flooded Noosa run for those that attended the noosa lunch on the beach run" will be stoppping at local park for BBQ supplied by the club "donated by yours truely"

So team give me your thoughts and I will come back with cruise details

Sounds good Paul.

Just remember that the combined Ford/Holden cruise is up around the Glasshouse mountains and Sunny Coast Hinterland.

Maybe do them all Paul. They are all great cruises and locations in their own rite.

Just drop three locations on a piece of paper, put em in a hat and blindly draw out whatever - and that will be the one up for the month, then the next etc.

Just a suggestion as I can't pick as they are all great.

Pete

Paul, as the combined cruise is in June and going North coast, how about offering up a 'west' cruise as one of the options instead.

Whatever goes is fine for us , the lunch at a pub along the way has particular appeal as no one has to do too much organising ( ie BBQ, food , trailer ) or cleaning up.

Kilcoy - Somerset Dam - Esk is a good start for a Western run/cruise.

Then either:
- back over the mountains
- back through Ipswich
- over to Hampton and Toowoomba if you want a longer cruise

Or Kilcoy - Blackbutt - Cooyar - Crows Nest - Hampton - Esk - home one way or the other

Or run it clockwise instead :D

Many options out West ;)

These are my favourite roads and the ones I often end up using in the LS1 cruises I organise. I find these roads are in much better condition than the ones down south. The ones down south are better driving roads though........
