checked the SS today & found it was very low on coolant ( not serviced long ago ) so thought I would check the aircleaner on the growler as that was supposed to be cleaned at service. Its chockablock full of crap so it wasnt cleaned . While looking further I see what appears to be suspect on the installation on the growler .. There is this small panel finished the same as the growler main body ( shiny , as if its to be seen ) that has been stuck to the chassis in a spot that to me does nothing, next to the body of the growler that has foam glued to it as if it should be sealing something.. does this look right to you guys

I think the mechanic that put this in for me was on something

Derek, it's in the wrong place. It is supposed to be further forward and cover the foam that is exposed.

and I assume that would also hold the bottom of the intake in place , at the moment the only thing holding it in is the top mount / earth post. the bottom just flaps around if you try to move the intake
