I'd be interested but I think we left our run this year a little too late.

A number of issues are still not in order for us to make a decent 'attack' on the event.

By all means if we can get a decent gathering lets go but two weeks is too short I think.

Meet times are as follows Meet spot 2 will be the one for down here because meet 1 might be a bit out your way haha.

Meet Points and Times are as follows, will be an early start as gates open at 6:15am for Display Cars and Public Gates open at 7am

Meet Point 1. Ettamogah Pub, Bruce Highway 4:50am
Depart 5:00 am

Meet Point 2. KFC Capalaba, Old Cleveland Rd 6:00am
Depart 6:15am

When we leave from KFC Capalaba we must stay as a group, as we can only enter as a group otherwise we will be seperated in the show grounds, just the way they do it!

Adam it is up to you. First of all you will have to find out if there is room still avalible for parking. John the new administrator of Scc does not seem to have a problem with a few attending but it will depend on numbers as we will only have so much room.:)

We are doing both Adam but the judging is in a separate area to the club displays. We will be parked next to Custom Commodores like last year. Bear in mine SCC members will get priority over anyone else parking in our display last year we had a enough room for about 40-50 cars but. We currently have 18 members going at this stage so there may be room as it is hard to say where they may put us this year. If you get only a small amount of support with this Adam you are welcome to come with me just be at the meet point at the time I have put up. All the others who have posted interest here are welcome also.:)

Yep. Everyone pays at the gate. Only cars getting judged need to prepay as there is only 200 spots available and they fill up quick.

It opened to the public at 7.

Unfortunately for everybody involved (spectators, displays and organisers) the heavens decided to open up and it poured rain.

I left at 10:30 and a number of people had already left or were about to.

Pity. There was some magic cars there. Out of the commodore clubs, I do have to commend CC on their large turnout.

I hope we can be a strong force there next year

Not to mention it is the highest attendance and not the best club display award CC should have got it by I guess shit happens. It is not about the award anyway really it is about having fun with your mates. That is one rule every club should live by 1 word Mateship and turning up for your club or clubs if you are a members of more than 1.:)

Was a great morning.. Some bloody nice cars there. Really pissed at the weather though.. It was just a pain when all the cars we wanted to see had bonnets closed and doors etc closed.. But all in all being there at just after 6 had a few hours of looking around.. Mick and i just got sick of the rain and decided to move out at bout 9.30ish.
