Windscreen Wipers

anyone know if theres a mod to make them go faster? haha, sound silly i know but the past few downpours we have had the windscreen wipers on the fastest speed still has trouble clearing the water enough for me to see ( like this morning, 40kph, pissin down rain, and was barely able to see 2ft in front of the car, i only knew where i was going cause the car in front had there lights on haha )

so anyone know if theres any mods i can do to speed them up?

put rainex on your screen works great and you don't even need to turn the wipers on if you are going fast enough

its a stock VS V6, it doesnt do fast haha

Get a sneaky radar detector.

If you change your wiper arms to a lighter and or shorter style of arm it will put less strain on the wiper motor and go faster.

Im yet to look at the spring or whatever it is that pushes the arm onto the glass cos I get the same problem.. with wiper fins you can get more downforce but that doesn't help at 60 when it's bucketing...

I would guess wipers designed for 12volts would burnout out with a potential of 24v.

very true, I wasn't being serious ;)

as suggested rain X would help, but when it's absolutely bucketing down, no matter how fast your wipers move, they cannot move that sort of volume of water off the screen area fast enough, they just aren't big enough. All cars have the same problem. Unfortunately not much you can do about it.
