At Gympie Skidpan Day the weekend before last, both my upper front swaybar bolts came undone, additionally I dislodged the front bumper bar big time (more race Tape) and then lost both of my rear sorst hanger rubbers; so the VE literally rattles, shakes and rolls like a true blue chaffcutter atm. Wheel alignment is somehow visually way positive camber front left and big negative on the right - looks like a comercial roadbuilding Grader machine lol - more fixit stuff needed. I am confident that HT can fix all of this pretty easily. Minor glitches.

The Harrop Tru Track is definately a hard/tight locker making things almost 50% easier to run fun on the pan as you can almost THROTTLE Steer the car most of the time. But the Tru Trac is a tad noisy (whine) at very, very low throttle settings when lopeing along doing highway/daily drive and what it "wasn't" really designed for, but is quiet as a mouse under tight going and mid to heavy throttle. Between Hi Torque and Main Lube there is a plan in place.

The trans cooling matrix by Hi Torque is superb, even at skidpan day I couldn’t get it above 70 degrees even running 6,000 - 7,000 rpm for a lot of the time in manual mode despite the Engine Coolant Temp getting up to 106 degrees C. I did a few computer tests and checks and wrote the findings down for reference. Remembering that 100kph highway "used to be" 95-98 degrees trans temp and this went way higher when pushed hard – but in its current form highway running is a mere 52 – 56 degrees all the way from Brisbane to Gympie.

I have the trans fluid running through the radiator, then through another cooler in front of the radiator, then it diverts over to another one mounted in the void of the left guard with a dedicated fan mounted to the cooler. Plus aprox additional two litres of Dextron 6 required to fill the system probably takes strain off the A6 too.

Well done Hi Torque!!!

The current challenge is how to get a diff cooler and engine oil cooler mounted and both working effectively on a VE with L98 - not as easy an ask as it may sound. A tad over 300rwkw and a mid 12 second car in an A6 Luxo Heavyweight is fine by me so I'm no longer after the power chase... The cooling and longevity is the focus.
