Hi all

I'm one of those people with a mental block when it comes to writing about themselves.

I first joined in 2008, then got busy with other stuff and fell by the wayside before joining again late last year

Name: Richard
Location: Stafford
D.O.B: 11 September, 1956 - makes me 53 now, (going on about 19 at heart, if not in body )
Occupation: Civil engineer. Starting a new job with Leighton Contractors on 29 March. On holidays for three weeks - so Vicky the VK is making progress again. :p
Marital status: Doing it again!
MSN Address: What's so special about an MSN Address? You can get me on bear.richard@gmail.com. If there's something special about MSN let me know and I'll set one up. (Remember: I'm from the age before mobile phones and internet!!::eek: Be gentle with me)

I'll see if I can post some details and pics of Vicky in the Members Rides forum.

Anyway, good to be back and looking forward to some more cruises

Cheers
Richard

Thanks Tezza. Yep, a good vintage. They even held the Olympics in Melbourne to celebrate it being such a great year :D LOL

yeh it was good to see it come along, i was managing traffic control out there (might sound easy but taking care of 30 people, 7 construction sites and various road conditions that had to be planned on a daily basis it was a major headache lol), from the first core sampling ( and the endless tram tracks that where hit despite what city council records say lol ) but after 8 months of 13 - 16hr shifts 6 days a week i had enough and said blah seeya lol

No, i wouldn't have said managing traffic control on that one was easy. LOL.

The 13-16 hour shifts 6 days a week would do me in too. I wouldn't have lasted anywhere near 8 months. :D
