aight im at at hervey bay at the moment, and i can officially say after gympie the roads have turned to crap, i was dodging pot holes 1 meter wide, wash outs a foot deep an random other crap, even got the commodore airborn out the back of the bay :eek: (only a lil bit but gave the person behind me a fright as she tells me ) so be warned the roads are crap! haha

Bloody rain and pot holes and flooding, i had to drive my sv6 thru flood waters the other day...i was on the low side of it, on the wrong side of the road nothin was comming, i was doing like 20km/h and as i was in the middle of the flood water, this P plater in a barina came flying around the corner and just kept going, the were heading right for me and i had to swerve into the deep water and almost wrecked my mags and did damage to my commo, i then looked in my rear-view and this p-plater was nailing it thru the water hell fast, they didn't care. I mean where i live alot of people stop and it goes one for one, you know one car goes, than the car that was waiting on the other side goes, but yeah this P-PLATER didn't care at all. I thought about turning around and chasing them down and beating them up, but i was too worried about my commo...i think i got a dint under the passanger doors where the side skirts. I haven't checked it out yet haven't had time but yeah i could have killed the P-Plater

the rain is getting annoying at the moment, but after the drought we've been through, I'm very tolerant of it - they always said the only thing that would break this drought is a flood. Toowoomba now has 10.5% in it's dams and climbing!

roads everywhere have turned to crap. We were driving back from Inglewood on Thursday night and what was a fairly new stretch of road is now terrible. Massive holes and tracks where road trains have literally sunk into the road.

We're going to be babysitting a lot of roads over the next few weeks. Road between Miles & Roma is now restricted to 5tonne - nothing bigger is permitted.
Charleville has almost disappeared off the map, St George isn't far behind and Roma isn't great either.

yeah it's supposed to pump into Cessbrook. But the nightly dam level report is still saying 10.5% combined total. I heard they were going to fill to 40%, but they must be dragging their feet!

I was heading out to a plave called Heldon the other day for work and i can tell ya what the roads weren't very flash out there. Rough as guts.... Wish this rain would ease!!

just got home, what a shit drive, think iv dinted a rim :(, thought we where going to be caught in Hervey bay for a while there, heaps of roads cut, flood everywhere, only just managed to get the commodore through one of them ( and that was hairy, little bit of water comming in the door's, guess my seals arnt that good lol )
