I'm not having a lot of luck finding the fuel hose which connects the fuel filler neck to the fuel tank (VN-VS).
no longer available from Holden & dumb arse wreckers all cut the hoses instead losening the clamps with a screwdriver.... (I'd prefer a new hose anyway)

So I was thinking of using that blue silicone hose used for air intakes etc
However I'm not sure if it is fuel resistant.... Does anyone know if it is ?

i wouldnt use the silicone hose mate..its too maleable when fuel hits it..i.e. eats it away..

if ya have the one in ur car still, take it out, and head to repco..
thats where i got mine from, but i dont know what type it was.. i done mine ages ago now..:(

ah ok, cheers mate - rule out silicone hose then
I do have the piece of chopped hose that came with the filler neck (putting VN tank into VH), I could take that as a sample

you sure mate id give holden in melbourne a ring to see if they have any stock down there. i have noticed lately and this is from personal experience with a holden dealer here on the southside that any car older than vs the holden spare parts person behind the counter told me that they dont have the parts and they are all deleated. i then rang holden in melbourne to find that they still had some spares left over and were to happy to send it to me so off i go to the same dealer and told the same person that the part is available to which he got shitty with me because i gave him the number and the persons name in melbourne that he can contact to confirm it with much anoyance the part was ordered. i get the feeling its becuase they dont want to look or its to hard for them...... enough of that any way as the guys have said enzed or pirtek mate

Any good hydrolic hose place will stock what you are after.

Any repco store should have good 1/4" fuel hose through
