Guys

Some people will know that I had planned an overnight LS1 cruise this weekend.

Due to a number of unavoidable mechanical issues, and work comittments etc, a number have had to say No to this weekend.

There are a few of us still interested to get out and do something so I have decided to run kind of the first half of the cruise.

So we will meet at BP yatala at 8:30 for 9 departure.

We will be heading to Mudgeeraba first then.... here, look at the link

You will notice it finishes at Cougal. This is the Lions Road and continues over the border up to Innisplain. We will then head to Beaudesert and then home. Nothing major, nothing to spirited, just a scenic run this time

That is a friggen awesome route Adam. In my opinion it is one of the absolute TOP 5 cruise routes across SEQ/Northern NSW.

Not sure what day/date it is on, but this evening I received a phone inviting me to a western run on Sunday 27th and I have committed to - with a strong rider that I may have to pull out at half way point due to the plethora of mechanical issues with my car atm.

If I can fit it in - I will be a definate goer.

I'm a dope.... Yeah sorry. It's this Sunday. But Sunday is the 28th Pete. Just hope you didn't have days/dates mixed up

Aggh sheit they are both on Sunday 28th. Saturday and I could have made the effort to be there and sacrifice my pride and joy.

All I can say is that Adams proposal is a heck of a cruise and scenic route not to be missed.

Was a great day for a cruise yesterday. Rain stayed away for the most part. The drive itself was very scenic and a great run but I have to say that the roads themselves were awful. I dont know if all the rain lately is the reason but the amount of potholes we saw that could have swallowed up small cars was just amazing.

PROPSI, ROSCO, 416SS and I had a great run through this trip. Lions Rd is certainly something that would just be unreal if the road was in better condition. It seems to be the norm on some of these great Northern NSW roads. Great driving roads in terrible condition.

We stopped up at the lookout of the Lions Rd which looks down on the rail loop that gets the train up over the range. Will post some pics tonight.
