i have a GRIPE to convey. I dunno if this is the right place but hey, I'm sure someone will move it if its not right.


I live at Carina on the Brisbane Southside and took a jaunt over to Petrie about 80k round trip to suss out what "this exhaust shop" could do for me as I like to deal in person.

On arrival I was met by a nice bloke who seemed to want to help, but had to refer to the boss. Immediately I was told by the boss that I'll be with him shortly - from what I observed, apparently the burnout comp stuff they were watching was way more important than the customer!!!

When I was "eventually" given some attention, it was quick as a wink - "yeh, cat back for a VE = $1,300" - then bACK TO THE COMPUTER SCREEN FOR MORE BURNOUT FOOTAGE.. Absolutely no explanation of what I would be getting for my hard earned $$ was given - WTF.

Jam that up ya Quoit Mr "exhaust shop". Great business ethics Eyy, "this exhaust shop" lost a $1,300 sale and lots of shop promo opportunities in fobbing off the Blue Calais-V and a damned lack of courtesy on their part to say the least. Bottom line is that there are lots of top custom sorst shops out there but I would never ever recommend this bunch (flashy business cards though)!!!

To mind and what I witnessed, the "this exhaust shop" sucker must have so much business that the customer no longer matters. But an agonist to that is from what I saw there weren’t many cars lined up whatsoever, and there were plenty of "this exhaust shop" employees with apparently little to do. Gawwd I love to watch shops in action; it tells the real tale imo…

I have done a lot of business with lots of car performance shops across the past 3 yrs, but this is far and beyond the absolute "worst" that I have ever been treated as a potential paying customer.

Ah well, my experience will be posted on many and varied forums across the next few days!!!! And I will get my new sorst elsewhere - thanks for nothin "this exhaust shop" :mad:

Just bought the exact same lense i broke on e bay... comes with a UV filter and a 52mm circular polarizing filter as well..... picked it up for a good price to.... so feeling a bit happier now.... wont be here by wednesday though for the test and tune :(

i bought 4 new shocks ( 2x Monroe GT sports lowered shocks for front, 2x Monaro sports lowered for the back ) have just spent the last 2 months battling with a certain company about getting the front ones replaced as they where extremely undergassed ( if ya havnt drivin on them for more than a few hours and reverse down the driveway, it'll bounce on the spring for about 500m ) highway driving is worse ( as Northy proberly noticed when following me up an down the twisties on the weekend ) as the steering is hell unpredictable lol so have new shocks now after a battle ( took a friend of mine to ring head office lol )
