Well, Im giving Kev a run for his money :p

My 3rd car for 2010...

As some of you know I have been having significant issues with my VP S Pac wagon and it has a large dent in the rear, so after speaking to someone at work they said they have a wagon they are wanting to get rid of.

I went and looked at this wagon and it is perfect....every panel stright, full country pack (inc Sump guard), unmolestered to the point it still has the factory cassette player in it. Only work need for RWC is replace gearbox pan as has leak.

I pick it up next Sat (had no spare cash for car trailer this week) then hopfully rego within a week or two.

The high suspension makes the rear wheel look a little small.

The LED tail light bulbs seem to look great with a blood red look to them...although it was a bad idea putting in the LED indicators as now they flash way too fast..

i used thoes LED tail light bulbs in the VN when i got my VN clear tail lights ( it didnt appeal to me to have pink tail light lights lol ), they where good, and i used the LED indercator bulbs for a few days till they gave me the shits ( aparenty they draw to much or to little power?? i forget which ) mine seem to be brighter than yours thou??

WOW!!!!

Long time since an update....

Well I have a week off work so work on the car i shall...

With the help of Darkside, Newsyk, and Hoon I managed to get the Manual peddle box in (eaiser putting it in the VR then getting it out of the VN) we have put one SL front in (I will do the other tomorrow) and i have pulled the Bell mouth out...

Between now and Friday 31st July I have to....

Install the Manual box, tailshaft and flywheel...(anyone free during this week whom is able to help would be a blessing)...

Change injectors to either Ecotec or Magna (if I get them in time :thumbs up:)

Finish lowering:bouncing:

and sort through the mountain of tires and wheels in the shed to find wheels for C4C...

Happy times ahead..

Well I have the T5 on the floor in the shed, i have the Flywheel and HD Clutch so all my conversion is here...

I was offered th Magna injectors for free and unfortunatly I was too slow getting the ecotec injectors off my Brother inlaw....

otherwise I would love some...

May I ask why your changing injectors from the stock ones? Stock will handle all the small mods, bigger injectors alone won't mean more horsepower

hey Chris, I thought you were dropping a 5L into the wagon ?
or is that a different car, I can't keep up!

VP Pursuit
20-07-2010, 10:56 PM
lol....I was going to, then another body came up thats half way to show car ready, so that one will be getting the V8 with a twin screw top mount....

The VR will be kept reasonable to drive to and from work but will be looking into forced induction for it at some stage.

Details of the other car will come up in the next few weeks once its home and in the shed. (currently sitting in the brother inlaws shed).

I am getting better though...we've had the VS for 2 years now which is a record for a car with my name on the rego..lol and Ive gotten rid of 2 of the 6 cars.

Well, everything is in and one and I test started tonight....it starts fine. But when I pit it in gear the clutch went stright to the floor...:( I checked the cable at both ends then relised the throwout arm is moving back and forth freely...I have no idea what has caused this or how to fix..... So looks like no c4c for me
