just came back from looking at the new senator whats your thoughts on the new look

If its an E2 IMO they look like crap......

They the E2's are overdone with too much crap attached like the running lights and the lower droopier nose...

But thats just my opinon - however if its a Standard VE S1 Senator go for it....

actually lookin at that pic, take the running lights off, remove the silver highlights from the bumper, it doesnt look to bad

that photo of the E2 looks ok to me as well
but i had a look at a white E2 in the flesh today and did not like it
i also don't like the yellow calipers on the E2 GTS upgrade, the red look way better

Dont get an E2. Get an E '1'. Much better looking in my opinion. Not a big fan of DRL's, the new senator wheels or the size of the grille. The GTS and Clubbie has grown on me but if it was to be a senator, def an early model.

I agree! The VZ Senator has alot more class to it than the E1. And agreed that the E2 is way overdone. The idea in my mind of a senator is to smooth and subtle, and the E2 just bucks all those ideals.

I've been thinking of my plan.... Would be to sell the 416ci and get a E1 Senator and throw in a 440-460 odd cube.. Bloody nice car but they ruined it in the E2 IMO..

Not really haha well maybe just a little bit :rolleyes: If I was going to upgrade I would just go the clubbie with a cam and head package with a fast manifold. But the way things are my buying another house that would have to be down the track. I Love my car anyway and do have a few more plans for it.:)

Selling to Upgrade I surpose you would say?
Most likely will look at the new E2.:confused:
As the car sit's I would be chasing $75k and its only got 22,500ks on it.
It only really popped into my head of selling when everyone didn't like the E2 and I thought I might give it a go. I am just not sure what to do?

Fair enough..
I'm looking at upgrading as well but will most probably be ripping the engine out and selling it.. Looking at the My09 still as the LS3 will be worth a little bit more..
But really in the same boat. Not sure yet.. If i do this i will keep the car for a while though..
