Well what can this writer say about one of the horniest VN Commodores in Brisbane, a hell of alot thats for sure. So many words describe Alans 62NVE, clean, smooth, sex on wheels.
Starting off with the motor, the 3.8ltr V6 Buick has had a good tickle, with motor mods including a Crow Cam, Lukey Extractors followed by 2.5" sports system with stainless dumpers. Engine management is taken care of a Brock shop custom ECU and tune, with a rear wheel horsepower reading of 175HP, which is more than enough to give a few V8's a scare. Backing up the driveline is a T5 gearbox with short shift kit and heavy duty clutch. Finally power makes its way to the tarmac through the venerable VL Turbo Diff, custom fitted for the vn and fitted with 3.45 gears and a spool, which makes driving this thing bloody awesome.
Now that sexual body wrapped around an the mechanical package. The white over silver colour combination sets it off brilliantly, especially matched with the 18" Chrome BSA 291's, and dumped in the weeds. What really sets it off is the removal of the rear garnish, giving 62NVE that added individuality most VN drivers yearn for. Onto the interior and it keeps on getting better, custom touches are found all over, with 62NVE logos stiched into the doors, and a
62NVE badge on the dash. Combined withthe black and white colour coding makes this place a pleasure to be. Besides the sweet sound the emits from the tailpipe, Alan and his passengers get aural pleasure from the stereo setup consisting of pioneer cd, 2 pioneer 4", 2 sony 6", 4 kenwood 7X10's, 1 pioneer 12" .
All in all a well combined package, which is a real headturner everywhere it goes. Along with future plans which are a secret at the moment this really is a 62NVE. Top ride Alan and good luck on being Novembers COTM.
