Jodys VXSS features the venerable 5.7 litre LS1, pumping out an awesome 245rwkw. Obviously not stock, Jody has done several engine mods to achiveve this output, with an LS1 Edit and Mafless tune bieng performed by Powertorque Engines, an SS Inductions CAI and TB, 2 Hole Monaro intake, King Dragon Filter, Valve Springs, 9 mm Leads, Royal Purple Oil. Helping the gearshifts in this beast is a RIP shifter, which combined with the engine mods propels Jody and his beast over the quarter mile in 13 seconds flat, in full street trim!!!
But this weapon isnt all about speed, it looks absolutly stunning and features a comprehensive multimedia and audio visual setup in the car. JWR57 sits closer to mother earth thanks to SuperLow King Springs and Pedders Shockies, while rolling stock are the awesome 18 Inch XHP Scorch Chrome which set this ride off perfect. Other exterior mods Jody has performed include Tinted Tail Lights, Mesh in Front Air Dam, Tinted Windows, Deleted all Badges on Boot, Added Chevy Badge on Boot,Powertorque stickers.
Now to that audio system. Starting with an Alpine double DIN head unit, this ss is equipped with Alpine SPX 6.5 Inch Front Splits, Alpine R Type 6x9 Rear Speakers, Alpine R type splits Rear door Speakers, 2 * Alpine Type S 12" Subs, and powered by Alpine's MRD M500 Monoblock Amp and an Alpine MRV F340 4CH Amp. But the audio visual excursion isn;t over yet as jody has 2 x 7in LCD screens mounted in headrests, 1 x 7in flipdown roof mounted LCD screen, PS2 slimline mounted in the glove box with the ps2 run off a convertor hidden under the seat. This makes for a very comprehensive, not to mention one loud audio system that should keep Jody and the occupants of this beast very happy!!!!.
